Madeira Desouza created an entire universe in which he tells time travel stories.
This fictional universe is notable for how humanity uses time travel to alter past timelines on Earth for the specific purpose of preventing the self-destruction of the planetary civilization. An international agency named MMDI operates a top-secret lunar base under the crater Clavius. Time travel only works in lunar gravity (not on Earth) so all time travel agents share a common departure and return point at this sublunar base.
The Story Unfolds in a Trilogy
Book 1 is named Clavius Deep. It was released in 2026. Two additional installments currently are being prepared by the author:
Book 2 (no release date is set) covers changes in how the international agency MMDI runs the time travel operations. The most significant change is the introduction of a powerful male figure who runs the lunar base. He is not an ordinary human. He is a combination of human being and Artificial Intelligence which the Ezuoia (the extraterrestrials from another galaxy) fully control. Some of the characters introduced in Clavius Deep carry forward into the storytelling in Book 2.
Book 3 (no release date is set) explores how humanity struggles to survive as the dominant species on Earth after the Ezuoia unleash tens of thousands of their constructed species (human traits combined with the powers and superiority of AI.) This, of course, is the ultimate existential crisis which humanity has feared would someday arrive. The very last conflict with which human civilization must deal is detailed in Book 3.
